In need of an exhaust fan/light installation in bathroom and contacted Attic-Air. Was able to get an appointment on the books relatively fast. They arrived promptly at 8 am and were done within an hour inside the house/attic. A shirt 30 minutes later and ventilation through the roof was completed.
The fan replaced an existing can light in the shower and was located in a very difficult corner. Attic-Air was able to complete the job and clean up all dust and insulation that fell through the attic and vent the fan through the roof in a short amount of time.

Robert is a caring and fair expert when it comes to attic insulation. We had a raccoon tear up our fan and insulation. They replaced the fan, insulation, sanitized everything, and then installed cages over the top of my vents. We are very pleased with the work done and with our interactions with Robert and his team.

The workers did an excellent job. They were very respectful of our property. They were willing to locate the controls for the fan from where they were originally placed (out of reach!) by a previous worker to a location in the attic that I could easily access. They really seemed to know what they were doing.
When I first called they were booked up but put me on a wait list and then called back fairly soon when they had a cancellation, so I didn’t have to wait very long at all.

Attic Air is the best! Robert is trustworthy, professional, and meticulous. We got his name from our neighbors across the street who highly recommended him.
We had Attic Air install several roof vents and put insulation in our crawl space that was sorely needed. They also installed a motorized exhaust fan on the roof to vent the crawl space when it hits a certain temp in the Summer. And, Robert was kind enough to set us up with a roof vent and proper connective tubing over our bathroom in anticipation of an exhaust fan we will be installing once we redo our bathroom. It’s all set up and ready.
The work was done in September, 2018. It looks great. We are properly vented and insulated. We have been so pleased with our heating bill over the Winter. The gas bill went down significantly! Cant wait to see our ComEd bill this Summer.
Fast forward 8 months later. Yesterday we noticed a small water spot on a our ceiling and left a message for Robert. It’s a holiday weekend and yet Robert came today, into the City from St. Charles to address the issue. He found the problem at one of the vents and replaced the vent, sealed it, and guaranteed the issue was solved. He showed us pictures and thoroughly explained what happened. It was a fluke of an issue involving a lose board in the crawl space.

I would highly recommend Attic Air. I found their customer service outstanding from start to finish. They installed insulation, an attic fan and routed our bathroom vents externally. I noticed a significant difference immediately as I did not need to run my A/C as often and my bedrooms upstairs were staying cooler for longer.
