Attic Infestation

Here in the midwest, we see a lot of rodent infested attics. Common infestations include raccoons, squirrels, rats, bats, mice and more. These vermin can cause serious damage up in your attic. Critters use your attic as a shelter den to stay safe from the elements and as a breeding ground. As a result, they contaminate your insulation and attic floor with feces, urine. They also host a variety of insect including fleas, lice, and various mites. Many rodents carry ringworm or other parasites that can present a health hazard.

RODENT REMOVAL

Before we address any damage done by rodents in your attic, we first have to identify then vacate the culprits.

ONCE THE CRITTERS ARE GONE

Once the critters are gone, all of the contaminated insulation must be suctioned out of the attic and the attic surfaces need to be properly disinfected. Check your homeowners insurance policy, often rodent infestation damage is covered.

INSULATION REMOVAL

We provide fast and affordable insulation removal services.

Removal work is performed in one day. Our commercial insulation truck is parked close to entrance of the property. We lay tarps down from the entry to the attic access point. Next we run a 4″ hose from the equipment to the attic. Insulation is then removed utilizing powerful suction equipment stationed near the property entrance.

Old insulation is bagged carefully outside in order to prevent any cross contamination. Finally, we haul away all bagged insulation from the property.

ATTIC DISINFECTION

After insulation is removed, Attic Air can disinfect and deodorize the attic using a safe non-toxic disinfectant in order to kill bacteria, mildew, and eliminate odors.

RE-INSULATION

Attic Air can reinstall insulation the same day, however, there are no extra charges for a separate trip to the home if needed.
